Wednesday’s Child is the second EP from Oxford-based producer and drummer Despicable Zee aka Zahra Haji Fath Ali Tehrani. Coming in at just under 10 minutes the work is steeped in issues relating to identity, heritage, relationships and change - the songs sound like echoes of something, partially forgotten. This is the first time she has worked with her own vocal and lyrical content, layering melancholy, lazy melodies to shape a vocal sound that sits somewhere between poetry and quiet rap.
